As a fashion designer, I aim to push the boundaries of archetypical clothing, reaching for a sense of playfulness. My work blends the recognizable with the unexpected, creating garments that are familiar, yet don't really fit into any specific style or archetype. I focus on experimenting with construction and silhouette, creating pieces that feel separate from any particular time or societal context.

 

I'm inspired by the people around me and the ever-evolving world we live in. I want my work to resonate on both an aesthetic and commercial level, creating pieces that also offer something meaningful to the 'real' world. I've always been fascinated by all forms of art, from film to photography, but fashion has always been my greatest passion. I love to start my process with experimentation, allowing myself to flip ideas on their heads and create something new. This constant reinterpretation drives me, pushing me to design in a way that’s bigger than myself, and to ultimately leave an impact that’s both admired and influential.
